Hasitha Leanage saw a gap that global art platforms had never solved for this region: Sri Lankan art was being bought, sold, and resold with no reliable record of authenticity, and no easy way for international collectors to participate. Local artists had the talent; what they lacked was an infrastructure that could prove a piece was genuine, track it from first sale to resale, and pay them fairly across borders.
